Parent Coffee & Conversation

The principal, staff, community members, and parents had a conversation on 1/18/18 on how to raise a child in the age of technology. Lucas Machado from the district provided some great resources for parents and teachers to access tips and advice on how to navigate and balance technology and living in the moment.  Here is a link to a valuable resource. Teachers and parents can look up various types of media (movies, books, apps, etc.) to see if it is age appropriate for their children.

There will be more meetings in the near future. Meetings will be announced in the school newsletter, on the school's website, and on the school's marquee. If you have a topic that you are interested in having a conversation about, please email your ideas/suggestions to Mrs. Hare

Students were able to listen to a guest student athlete speak with them about what it takes to be a college athlete.
