Early Out Wednesday

School Dismisses at 12:57 pm every Wednesday

Students will be walked to the front of the school for pick-up


Daily Breakfast Hours

 7:45 am - 8:15 am     


The playground opens at 8:00 a.m. for students not eating breakfast at school.

There is no adult supervision before 8:00 a.m.

Please make every effort to get your child to school by 8:15 am each day, and to make any appointments before or after school. Research shows that great attendance is one of the key factors of academic achievement.

The district goal is 96%. The top five classes at Northwood will each receive an attendance banner and a popcorn party.

Please make sure to notify the office when your child is absent.

*If your child is late for school, they must report to the office for a late-slip. Students are not permitted into the classroom without a late slip if late.

*The MASTERS Expanded Learning Program is open every day when school is in session.

We welcome and encourage you to visit Northwood School.  If you would like to visit, we would appreciate you calling school ahead of time.  Please check in at the office before visiting the classroom and we will give you a visitor’s badge.


Please join us for School Site Council, ELAC, and parent meetings.  Meeting times are listed in the weekly newsletter.  If you would like to learn more about

A newsletter from the principal will be sent home every Friday.  It includes a calendar of upcoming events. Please encourage your children to bring home all notices that they receive at school.  Extra newsletters are available in the office.
