Dismissal and Arrival Time Reminders

 

Mon. Tues. Thurs. and Fri.—School Begins Promptly at 8:15 am and ends at 2:57 pm

Þ Breakfast served from 7:45 am - 8:15 am

Þ Students who are NOT eating breakfast should not arrive before 8:05, yard supervision begins at 8:05

Parents should pick students up in the front of the school.  Teachers will walk students to the front area at dismissal.

 

Early Out WEDNESDAY—School Begins Promptly at 8:15 am and dismissal is at 12:57 pm

Þ Students will receive lunch prior to dismissal

Þ If special arrangements need to be made for early out Wednesday, please contact the school office

Attendance + Academics = Achievement

 

Please make every effort to get your child here on time each day, and to make any appointments before or after school.

The district goal is 96%.

The top five classes at Northwood will receive the attendance banners for the month.  Also, there will be popcorn parties for the top classes.  

 

Please make sure to notify the office when your child is absent.

Call 566-2705 and press the #2 for our attendance hotline.

     Northwood Elementary School utilizes various specialized programs to support its curriculum.  English Language Development instruction is administered by classroom teachers certified with CLAD (Cross-cultural, Language and Academic Development) credentials.

Our 2016-2017 school schedule is as follow: School begins at 8:15 AM and ends at 2:57 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.  

Our Wednesday schedule is now early out with school starting at 8:15 AM and ending at 12:57 pm.

 

Our school goals emphasis is 21st century learning with an integration of the arts to help students achieve their very best.  Become an active member of our school!  We have many ways and opportunities for families and community members to volunteer.

Step One:  LCAP Survey (for TRUSD Parents)
